We partner with medical and other professional service providers to provide services to the most at-risk members of our community. We provide the structure, medical and clinical support, and guidance people need to move toward greater independence and self-reliance.
= Valley sober living and recovery residency in Newman, California, was made possible by the generous donation of Dr. and Mrs. Habeeb Ahmed, who donated 51% of the property to Howzing.
This generous donation allowed our Howzing team to remodel and bring to life the old Newman Hospital left in decay.
Howzing worked with an experienced nonprofit operator, "Valley Sober Living on the West Side."
With our skilled property management team and Valley Sober Livings Human service team, the center offers residents the right balance of responsibility and flexibility.
60% of the center is occupied, including the game room, gym, media room, card room, meeting rooms, and 30 private rooms. Residents can enjoy cooking in two large kitchens with the new appliances to serve the culinary taste of the residents.
We are working with the county and our team to provide additional services for 100% use of this beautiful building spreading over a 5-acre pastoral setting.
